You will start your adventure near Piazza Duomo or Central Station in Milan where you will meet your guide – feel free to choose between two different meeting points. Then you will take an express train ride to Lake Como (45 min) and reach directly Como City where you will stay about one hour and a half, enjoying a mix of guided tour and free time.
Como has a long history dated back even before the Roman empire, was ruled by multiple Italian, German and Austrian emperors due to its strategic location. You will stop by the Duomo of Como, the last Gothic Duomo built in Italy and the most important religious site of the city. From Duomo of Como, you will continue to explore the city centers led by narrow marble streets through other important sites such as Piazza San Fedele, Via Vitani & Piazza Cavour.
You will enjoy a stunning ferry cruise ride along the lake with amazing picturesque views. After Lake Como boat tour, immerse yourself in the lake’s famous “golden triangle” section, known for its breathtaking villages, such as Bellagio & Varenna. Discover quaint boutiques with local art and stop by a lakeside restaurant to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine.
Your guide will suggest you a couple of wonderful lake-view restaurants and you will enjoy lunch in Bellagio. The tour includes a visit of Bellagio & Varenna together with your guide. In Bellagio you will have approximately 1 hour 50 minutes and in Varenna about 90 minutes.
At the end of your trip, take the express train back from Varenna to Milan together with your guide. It is also possible to stay more in Varenna Lake Como Italy at the end of the trip if you wish to visit by yourself villa monastero in Varenna or just stay they for an aperitivo (we will provide the train tickets if you wish to stay more in Varenna and return to Milan later by yourself, please warn us at least 24 hours in advance if you wish to have this option).
