This full day wine tour from Florence will introduce you to the most spectacular wineries of Chianti wine region in Tuscany, an open air wine museum where the modern Italian winemaking started.

The tour will start in your hotel – at the time you prefer, where our driver will meet you. You will start your journey in a luxury Mercedes car (different models are available, depending on the size of your group, all brand new with with air conditioning and Wi-Fi).
You will learn about enogastronomic, cultural and historical values that make Tuscany one the most influential Italian wine regions in the world and the birthplace of Chianti wine, which started with several iconic wineries like Antinori, Frescobaldi, and developed later with Supertuscan wines and many, many other quality wineries. Experience an extensive degustation of the Chianti, Sangiovese & much more, as well as local specialties during lunch in an iconic restaurant near Barolo area.
The tour includes a visit of several important Chianti wineries where you will join a guided tour of the winery to see the cellars, the production site and (if possible) the underground area of the winery. After that, you will enjoy an extensive degustation of their wines (from 4 to 6 different wines in each winery), which will always include Chianti wines.
There will be also a possibility to visit the shop of the winery in case you wish to bring some bottles with you to Florence (which is convenient if you already have too many things to do in Florence…); otherwise you can also ship Chianti wine to the most countries directly from the wineries you will visit.
Between the visit of the first and the second winery, you will enjoy an authentic lunch in a local restaurant that we will help to book for you, where you can enjoy local specialties.
Undoubtedly, you cannot visit Chianti & Tuscany without exploring the most beautiful villages, such as San Gimignano. From here you will enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the central part of the region.
