We could always ask him anything – best restaurant tips in Milan, info about trains, and he even booked a private transfer for us!!”

“Excellent, fun and well organized professional wine tour. We booked it 3 weeks in advance and they immediately contacted us to check all our preferences regarding the tour (we were a group of 3 people). They arranged a free pickup in our hotel. We visited 2 famous wineries, both very high level and tried a lot of Barolo, Barbaresco & Barbera (we visited ”Sordo” & ”Michelle Chiarlo” wineries), and Marco even asked us if we wanted to visit some wineries whose specialty is white wine or other grape types (he suggested 4-5 other wineries and after that we decided that we prefer Chiarlo and Sordo). They booked an amazing restaurant for us in Barbaresco town (the restaurant was top level but had very reasonable price… their wine list was thicker than ”Britannica” I would say!). We also visited a beautiful village with a castle (I forgot the name…). The driver Mr Pascquale was also extremely professional and polite, the car was brand new (mercedes minivan) with good air conditioning. 10 out of 10.”

“We did a 3-hr tour of the Last Supper and Duomo and would 100% recommend this tour! We got so much more out of the city than we would have done on our own. Mr Martino was so professional and friendly; it was evident that he loved art, and his knowledge of Leonardo da Vinci and the history of the city enriched our experience. He even suggested small cathedrals around the city we could visit on our own in the afternoon. It’s easy to get lost in the facade of Milan – do the tour with the locals!”

“Epic! This wine tour was really epic. I booked it as a gift for my sister for Christmas holidays (I was hesitant in the beginning as the tour had very little reviews…) and we are both quite passionate about wines and heard a lot about Franciacurta region but never tried it… We visited the lake Iseo which is very beautiful (and not overcrowded like Como), took a ferry there, and visited two beautiful wineries during the day (Bellavista and Ricci Cubastro), which as I learned are one of the oldest winemakers of the area. The second winery even has a wine museum inside where you can see all the tools used to make wine 100 years ago as they family was here for many generations.. The wines are more elegant and complex than prosecco (totally different technique as we learned!). Our driver Stefano was extremely professional, polite and friendly. They booked a restaurant for lunch for us. Overall, great experience. Not cheap – but we really loved it.”

One day before the trip I got an email and mobile message from Marco containing a full information about the picking point and keeping following me by calls to ensure that I am joining on time.. that’s really appreciated. We visited central of Como and the cathedral and walked around with good experiences by the tour guide, then we took a boat to the most beautiful Bellagio and Varenna.

“If you are thinking which excursion to take to Como… definitely THIS ONE!!! It goes by train (not bus!!!) so you save a lot of time and as the only one has Varenna and Como funicular on the program. Its a small group of 12 as well so its easy to make friends and guide Mr Salvatore is simply amazing!!! He has a lot of acknowledge, humor, and even gave us an option to stay 1hr longer in Varenna if we wanted to :)))) It was an experience to remember!”

“Memento Italy was an absolute pleasure to work with. I changed the date of our day trip closer to the date and they made every effort to accommodate my requests. They communicated all details via WhatsApp and email, making sure to answer all of my questions to my satisfaction.
Immediately preceding our trip (we were a group of three), they shared the relevant information to contact my guide. The day of, we were thankful to be greeted by Savio where we were staying in Milan, who arrived early and messaged me to let me know he had arrived.
We first arrived in Como and, despite the rainy weather, were able to easily navigate our first time there due to Savio’s tips and recommendations. From Como we visited Villa D’este, Villa Olma, Villa Carlotta, and then took the ferry to Bellagio. Each time Savio was on time and even confirmed the ferry was operating. We arrived back in Milan, right on time, concluding our 10 hour trip.
Savio was professional, helpful, friendly, and accommodated all of our requests. We are very thankful to him and Memento Italy for making our first trip to Lake Como memorable and enjoyable.”

“We did the guided tour of the Last Supper, the Duomo and the ice cream tasting. The course has much more for us. We felt very comfortable with Monica who is very kind, friendly and very educational. In addition, she speaks French perfectly. We learned a lot of things fluently thanks to her and were able to ask a lot of questions. Seeing the Last Supper in real life was truly a beautiful experience. The whole walk with the visit to the Santa Maria delle Grazie church with a few stops up to the Duomo was good and relaxing. The tour of the Duomo from basement to ceiling was very interesting and magnificent. The ice creams were good.
We are quite demanding when it comes to guided tours, and this one suited what we were looking for. All the logistics were managed and we were able to let ourselves be carried away and fully enjoy the visit. Places to see well chosen in relation to the timing. Monica, our guide, knew how to be a teacher without being professorial and rich in sharing knowledge without it being heavy.

“We had such a wonderful time on this tour with our 3 year-old and 5 year-old. Our guide Marica, was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I learned so much from her- she is simply wonderful! Our kids loved the gelato (ok we all did), museum, and of course, the toy store. Speaking of the toy store, the employees at FAO Schwartz pulled out all the stops and gave our kids a real VIP experience, it really blew me away. We were a bit nervous about bringing our young children, but this tour had something for everyone.”
